J-From Keith Schneider - Hello Gentlemen, You have a tremendous group of young people and fans.  I wanted to let you know I appreciated how the fans behaved and interacted.  My son played and said he had some great conversations on the field.  The people in the booth were very nice and helpful.

Thanks again for coming.  It rained a little but one of your parents told me a little water wasn't bad but they do not need any more for a while.  Steve Stoppelmoor, Principal, Cochrane-Fountain City Football Game - Friday 8/24

-From Keith Schneider - Dear Mr. Schneider:  The Wisconsin School Music Association depends on several volunteer committees for many activities, including our State Honors Project. Teachers who volunteer their talents for the High School State Honors Music Project have unprecedented access to nationally known conductors for an extended period of time and work with our state's finest young musicians. From this experience, educators learn new techniques, and share these ideas with their own students.

Nathan Gerlach is serving as the Low Woodwinds Coach for the WSMA High School State Honors Band. Nathan was invited to serve in this position because of his exemplary teaching abilities, performing talents, and commitment to young musicians. He spent four days this past summer working with our state's finest high school musicians at the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project's summer camp. Our conductor, Scott Jones, worked closely with Nathan, and the lessons he learned from this nationally known conductor/educator are being passed on to his own students.

- From Bernie Nikolay – Congratulations to all our coaches and our athletes for earning the WIAA Award of Excellence!  Shout out to our Athletic Director, Mike Klingbeil and Athletic Department Administrative Assistant, Dawn Williams, as this could not have happened without their leadership.  This award recognizes schools for outstanding achievement in the areas of sportsmanship, ethics, integrity, leadership and character.

- From Bernie Niolay – synopsis of letter from Ron Dayton (retired Superintendent, 2011) – As part of my being bless with a chance to serve my home church on its Church Council, I became aware of the commitment of Board of Education and leadership of our Cambridge Schools have made to commit to the community the resources of one fifth of the position of social work services.  A remarkable gift. You have my deepest gratitude and respect for this effort and my full support for its sustaining commitment as it serves both the district and community so richly.
