Requirements:

-Applicants must be graduating seniors for a WI high school in 2011 and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or vocational technical institute in 2011.
-The scholarship is awarded based upon the results of an essay contest judged by three independent judges.  The 2012 topic is:  What is the appropriate role of recall elctions in Wisconsin at the state and local levels?

Other Information:

-essays between 500 - 1000 words on this topic are due to the Wisconsin Towns Association office postmarked no later than May 30, 2012.  Complete rules and eligibility requirements are listed on their website http://www.wisctowns.com.
