The course is designed to be for students planning to pursue education beyond high school or those who have a strong interest in studying biology in greater detail.  A more advanced and in-depth approach to studying living organisms will be taken. 

Human anatomy and physiology will be a focus of this course.  Students who have an interest in medical and nursing fields, veterinary science, health science or related sciences will benefit from this course.  Genetics and biotechnology will be a second focus of this course.
