Julie Woletz has been teaching at Cambridge High School since 1991. She graduated that year from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree in Business Education, and went on to earn her Masters Degree in Office Systems in 1997, also from UW-Whitewater. She taught various courses for Madison College, and a Consumer Education course at UW-Whitewater. In 2005, she earned her National Board Certification for teachers, and in 2007 earned first place in the the Baird Excellence in Teaching Economics and Financial Literacy Award. She participated in the "Financial Literacy: TEACH IT" program in 2009, where her classroom was featured for other teachers to see.
Mrs. Woletz enjoys the constant change that occurs in both technology and the world of personal finance, and looks forward each year to showing students how they can use their business skills in just about any occupation they choose. She has been an active member of the Wisconsin Business Education Association since 1989, which keeps her up-to-date on what is happening in her field. When she's not at school, she enjoys spending time with her two children, Kevin and Katherine, and her husband, Troy. She also enjoys quilting and listening to hard rock music.
