Course Description:

Ceramics is designed to teach the fundamentals of both hand-building and wheel-thrown ceramics.  Initially, students begin with a series of hand building techniques in order to understand the restrictions and capabilities of clay.  After moving to the wheel, the bulk of the course will be spent fine-tuning the students wheel throwing abilities.

Additional ceramics courses are offered each semester from levels One through Six.   As students develop their wheel throwing abilities, new shapes and techniques are introduced.
