Course Description:

This independent course offers students an introduction to basic theory,  use of the camera, film development, exposure methods, and printing in black and white.  Students must supply their own 35mm camera with manual functions and pay for all consumable materials .  An emphasis will be placed on both practical and aesthetic considerations in a variety of darkroom printing and processing techniques.   Field trips, lectures and exhibits help support the goals in this class.  Students need teacher's consent to enter class.
