MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS

Some things are best learned in the classroom, others require doing. Cambridge High School students make a difference in the lives of others.

Cambridge High School seniors who have completed 200 hours of volunteer service during their high school career will be awarded the Silver Cord to wear for recognition at graduation. The goal of this program is not only to acknowledge students, but also to encourage the development of their own leadership and citizenship skills.

We encourage you to explore how you can get involved in your community. These volunteer experiences may be included as part of your senior portfolio, scholarship, college, and job applications. If you have any questions about this program, please contact our School Counselor.
