Staff wishing to attend a conference or workshop should complete the following process. Precedence will be given to those who have completed the pre-planning for conferences during the budgeting process. Attendance to conferences are subject to budget availability, administrative approval, and substitute availability.
Conference/Workshop Required Process:
Complete the following:

If you did not receive pre-approval during the budgeting process (You will have a copy of the approved form if you did) contact your building principal/supervisor to inquire if funding is available

Complete the Conference/Workshop Request Form

Complete the registration form provided by the conference organizers

Complete the Check Request Form (If conference requires a registration fee)

Complete the Absence Form

Turn in all completed forms outlined above to your supervisor for approval. Your supervisor will be responsible for forwarding the approved items onto the business office for processing. Please ensure that conference registration details are with the request otherwise the business office will be unable to process it.
