On Monday, December 3rd,  students from CES, NMS and Koshkonong Trails attended the Art of Writing Conference at the Milwaukee Art Museum. The purpose of the day was to connect students to art and writing by exploring the museums vast collection of works. Students either attended as artists or writers. Artists spent the day sketching and turned in a final piece for publication at the end of the day. Writers were responsible for completing a personal narrative based on a piece of artwork that they selected. The students' completed submissions will be published in an anthology and distributed to them in May. Ms. Sharon Daly, Advanced Learning Coordinator, and Mrs. Sarah Krajewski, CES, art teacher, participated as group leaders for writing and art respectively. It was a wonderful day of art and writing at the museum!
