Our Mission
CHS STRIVES TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN THE ARTS, ACADEMICS, AND ATHLETICS
We do strive to achieve excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics. We are a community of life-long learners where the interrelationship between vocational and academic achievement is stressed. We support students in pursuing their academic and vocational interests to the fullest, to become actively involved in their school, and to become responsible young adults. We encourage our students to be positive leaders, and to do those things which bring respect and honor to their school, teachers, fellow students, family, and community.
The academic program is delivered through a standard eight period day with each class period running 45 minutes in length. Each student needs a total of 25 credits to graduate: 17 required credits and 8 elective credits. In addition, all students must complete a CPR certification, complete a portfolio, participate in Reality Day, participate in a senior portfolio exit interview and pass a civics exam.

Cambridge High School offers a variety of opportunities for students in both the performing and visual arts. We offer four bands and three choirs, along with numerous other special performance opportunities.
