Our Special Education Team works on all aspects of the academic curriculum to further individual achievement working at the student’s individual developmental level. We incorporate social skills and daily living activities as appropriate for each student’s needs.
Speech and Language
The speech and language program offers children from age 3-21 assistance with sound production, language development and social language skills in order to promote success in the classroom.
Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy are related services for Special Education students that qualify for additional help with fine motor and/or gross motor school-related functional skills.
DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING SERVICES
Cambridge School District serves students with hearing loss who qualify for special education education through a wide range of supports, accommodations, and instruction depending on a student’s academic, communication, and/or social-emotional needs.
