The Wisconsin Association of School Boards has designated Oct. 5-11 as Wisconsin School Board Week—a time to raise awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our communities. The School District of Cambridge is joining all public school districts across the state in celebrating Wisconsin School Board Week and honoring local board members for their commitment to Cambridge and its children.
Cambridge schools are the heartbeat of our community, and our Board Members are devoted to helping our children grow and reach their potential. It’s a difficult role. But our Board gathers each month to make the tough decisions—and they put in countless hours between meetings to make sure they have the information necessary to make those decisions.
Please, join us in thanking Cambridge Board of Education Members and stay engaged by reaching out, sharing your ideas and supporting our children. Together, we can make a stronger community and better schools for our students.
