Mr. Rivera was elected to the School District of Cambridge, Board of Education in April of 2024. Jesus serves on the Policy Committee, the Curriculum Committee, is the current Committee Chair for the Hall of Honor Sub-Committee of the Board and is the CAP Board representative.
Jesus' educational philosophy:
Public education is for all. The board's responsibility is to set policy and provide oversight that prioritizes equity, removes barriers, and creates conditions where every student can learn and become an engaged citizen.
