Reminder CES Families - Ready, Set, Go Open House for grades K-5th is Wednesday, August 29th from 4-6 p.m. Students can meet their teachers and drop off their supplies.
The School District of Cambridge will once again provide an excellent academic opportunity for students to be better prepared to start the 2018-2019 school year. “Jump Start” is an excellent way to ensure readiness for the 2018-2019 school year while brushing up on academic skills, classroom expectations and fun!
Eligible students will receive an invitation letter in the mail the week of July 23rd.
All of the above classes are held at Cambridge Elementary School and run Monday through Thursday; August 6-16.

The 2nd Graders have been working really hard researching and writing Informational Texts! The Cambridge Public Library graciously is letting us display our Published books at the library all summer! Come read our amazing 2nd grade work this summer!


CES is ready to start saving their milk cartons and other recyclables to show how we make a difference. Thank you Mr. Timp and Mrs. Ecerkman for our collection area and sign.

In honor of Food Service Worker, Teacher, and Staff Appreciation Week; Administration visited CES and helped serve food in the cafeteria. Thank you!



Earlier this year our 5th graders joined the middle schoolers in taking the Knights of Columbus sponsored Math and Reading Tests. These students earned medallions for their hard work and great efforts.

Opera for the Young was here today and perfomed Rasulka with the help of our Blue Jay Choir.

First graders were helping today in our school garden!



Yesterday was National Teach Kids to Save Day! We were lucky enough to have a group from United Community Bank come in and share their knowledge with our first grade classrooms. Never too early to start saving. Thank you to Kevin Mehringer, Amy Simdon, Nicole Rothe, Vallene Krigbaum and Robin Hanson. They told me they were honored to be allowed to come in to teach for an hour. They enjoyed the time spent with the children!
