We are seeking to fill a 5.5 hour per day school year position supporting students with special education needs under the direction of our special education teaching staff and building principal. The preferred applicant will have experience: working with children, working with individuals who have disabilities, and/or other related work experience that would prepare the applicant to work with children in the school setting. Preferred applicants will demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work as a member of a team. Other responsibilities may include supervision of students in the cafeteria, during lunch recess, and during arrival to/departure from school.
In our classrooms, you may have students who are performing at various levels and students with significant intellectual disabilities, and across races, social classes, and language levels. This candidate will build rapport with students of color, students from low-income families, students labeled with a disability, students who are culturally and linguistically diverse, and students who are LGBTQ to ensure the physical, psychological, and emotional safety of all children.

We have a full time evening custodial position available. The candidate will work under the direction and supervision of the Director of Buildings and Grounds at Cambridge Elementary School.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: basic custodial duties such as floor care, cleaning of the bathrooms and fixtures, general cleaning, snow shoveling, light maintenance, building security, set up and take down for special activities, emergency clean up and other duties as assigned. A candidate with a range of maintenance skills is desired. The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds. This position qualifies for full benefits.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, cleaning experience, capable of lifting 50 pounds and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
