The successful candidate will fill a 70%-100% assignment as an Athletic Department Administrative Assistant (which serves both Nikolay Middle School and Cambridge High School). Position responsibilities include but not limited to:
*Manage the athletic department forms, rosters, team awards, and event programs.
*Hire event workers for athletic contests (ticket takers, clock operators, score book recorders, supervisors, officials, etc.).
*Manage athletic transportation scheduling.
*Assist/Manage the hiring/contracts of game officials.
*Manage concession stand availability (working with clubs/organizations in our schools).
*Complete payroll records for event workers and officials.
*Maintain/Update/Distribute athletic schedules.
*Maintain/Update rSchool (athletic online platform used by the entire conference).
*Maintain/Update athletic department website and social media outlets.
*Communicate with all stakeholders (in person, phone, email, etc.).
*Work collaboratively with Main Office Staff (office manager, counselor, nurse, dean of students and principal), serving as main back up for office manager.
High School Diploma required. Advanced degrees preferred. Solid technology skills (Google Mail/Calendar/Docs/Sheets, website management, social media posting, etc.), excellent communications skills and solid organizational skills are needed in this position. The candidate should be able to take feedback and direction from the athletic director and the building principals.
We are seeking to fill a 5.5 hour per day school year position supporting students with special education needs under the direction of our special education teaching staff and building principal. The preferred applicant will have experience: working with children, working with individuals who have disabilities, and/or other related work experience that would prepare the applicant to work with children in the school setting. Preferred applicants will demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work as a member of a team. Other responsibilities may include supervision of students in the cafeteria, during lunch recess, and during arrival to/departure from school.
