Last Wednesday, February 7th, the School Board took the next steps towards giving Koshkonong Trails an official home. Over the past several months and especially in recent weeks, many community members have weighed in on the matter with potential solutions ranging from transporting between the high school and Severson Learning Center daily to renovating the existing barn into classroom space. During the board meeting, the Board voted to purchase a four classroom structure that the Koshkonong Trails planning group had looked at in early January. The building will provide ample space for individual student workstations, open spaces for seminars and collaboration, and even a kitchenette area. It is very exciting to have found a building that serves the needs of visiting schools and Koshkonong Trails students so completely.
We look forward to sharing more about the plans for this building as they are finalized in the coming weeks. Our hope is that tours and visits will be available in late Spring.
