The Greater Dane County School District Governance Consortium, of which the School District of Cambridge is a member, is hosting a moderated community forum on the State of Wisconsin’s budget process and its impact on schools. Cambridge’s State Representative Joan Fitzgerald and State Senator Melissa Ratcliff, along with other state legislators, will be a part of a panel. The panel will also include several Dane County superintendents. There will be a discussion on the current and future state budget, priorities of legislators regarding students, and ways to advocate for public schools. The district will have representation in attendance from administration and the Board of Education. Please consider attending this important event. The forum will be held on Wednesday, May 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Middleton High School (North Commons) at 2100 Bristol St., Middleton, WI. An RSVP is not needed.
