We have a Student Inventor at CES! This is James who saw a need in his classroom and took action. Each day in Mrs. Brown's 4th grade class, 20 math journals are turned in for grading. Sometimes classmates would forget and it would take counting and rechecking so that everyone's journal had been accounted for. This would take some time, so James invented this JOURNAL COUNTER. You simply line the books up along the edge and easily measure how many journals had been turned in using the number line. James worked on this project with his dad at home and took pride in sharing all of the parts of his idea, transforming and idea into something useful. The class loves it! James' solution helps us be more efficient in our classroom. Great invention, James, and keep up the creative thinking!
