Our first graders enjoyed Chef In The Classroom Monday with Chef Gene Gowan and Mrs. Jacy Eckerman. They were treated to Apple Cranberry Chutney.


Our third graders put on their Cultural Fair today and we had many visitors who enjoyed their afternoon.

Here are some photos of today's Lumberjack Breakfast held by the 4th grade. Students shared breakfast, Tall Tales, and info about lumberjacks with their parents and invited guests.




The School-Day today, Thursday, January 11th, 2018, will end at each buildings normal release times. ALL after-school practices and events, including CAP-related practices and activities have been cancelled. Including Cap Care, Youth Center, Pool, Fitness Center.
Cambridge Child Development Day Invites Kids and Parents to School on February 16, 2018.
Cambridge area parents and their children (ages 2 years, 9 months through 5 years, 0 months) are invited to attend Child Development Day on Friday, February 16th from 9:00 am-1:30 pm at Cambridge Elementary School. Children who attend this free event will have the opportunity to interact with other children and school staff in a play-based environment while parents learn about community services available to families and young children. All children who are age 2 years, 9 months through 5 years, 0 months are encouraged to attend this event. Gift bags and refreshments will be available to those who participate. Please call Cambridge Elementary School at 608-423-9727 to register for a time slot.
4K Registration - February 16, 2018!
Parents of children who will be age 4 on or before September 1, 2018 are encouraged to register their child/ren for 4-Year-Old Kindergarten on February 16th, 2018 at Cambridge Elementary School from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Please bring in a copy of your child’s birth certificate to be verified. Registration materials will be mailed to parents upon request by calling Cambridge Elementary School at 608-423-9727

Our kindergartners made Gingerbread houses with the assistance of their parents and grandparents. I saw several they were beautiful.

The song was just too big for our school but we managed to fill quite a few verses.



Our Second graders enjoyed their Chef In the Classroom experience today with Chef Gowan cooking up some butternut squash pancakes for all to try.
Thursday evening our 4K had their annual cookie decorating and sing-along, where they even got to do the Reindeer Hokey Pokey. Good fun was had by all. Thank you Mrs. Adas, Mrs. Buonincontro, Mrs. Muth and Mrs. Leopold.



CES 4th graders were given the chance to bid on a pizza party with Mrs. Overhouse our Reading Assistant. The bids came from "funds" they earned in class. These lucky bidders got to have lunch with Mrs. Overhouse today and they had pizza, cookies and soda. Cal Nottestad, Finley Tuscic, Mrs. O, Tommy Carlson, Jude Young, Samantha Gjertson and Jacob Olson. Thanks for the leftover treat Mrs. Overhouse.
