The 2nd Graders have been working really hard researching and writing Informational Texts! The Cambridge Public Library graciously is letting us display our Published books at the library all summer! Come read our amazing 2nd grade work this summer!

Earlier this year our 5th graders joined the middle schoolers in taking the Knights of Columbus sponsored Math and Reading Tests. These students earned medallions for their hard work and great efforts.

Our April Character Trait was perseverance . The following students received awards for their hard work and never give up attitudes. Opera for the Young was here today and perfomed Rasulka with the help of our Blue Jay Choir.
First graders were helping today in our school garden!
Yesterday was National Teach Kids to Save Day! We were lucky enough to have a group from United Community Bank come in and share their knowledge with our first grade classrooms. Never too early to start saving. Thank you to Kevin Mehringer, Amy Simdon, Nicole Rothe, Vallene Krigbaum and Robin Hanson. They told me they were honored to be allowed to come in to teach for an hour. They enjoyed the time spent with the children!

Author Sally Schnarr was here today visiting our 3rd graders and sharing her book Sally The Stone and Friends, Spread Kindness & Joy. A friend of Sally's donated 25 of her books to our school. The students enjoyed the visit.

Seems like there is something new everyday in our CES garden. Today we received our vegetable washing station hand-crafted by Mr. Nathan Zinzow. He, Harper and Ivan pose in front of the station.
